Local storage on your device

The app uses your browser local storage to keep your profile, Career DNA, saved jobs and progress on your own device. This is how we can show value before you create an account.

This data stays with you and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Essential cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies that are needed for the service to function, such as keeping you signed in and keeping your session secure.

These cannot be turned off without breaking core features, because the app depends on them to work.

Language preference

We remember your chosen language, for example English, Hindi, Urdu or Bengali, so you do not have to set it on every visit.

This is a simple preference and contains no sensitive information.

Session analytics and advertising

If you accept cookies, we use Smartlook for session analytics and Google Ads for advertising measurement. Smartlook may record your on-page interactions, including text you type into forms, so we can understand how the app is used and fix problems. Google Ads helps us measure which campaigns lead to sign-ups.

These tools load only after you accept cookies on the banner. If you decline, Smartlook session recording is not started.

We still do not sell your attention or auction your profile, and these recordings are an internal product tool: they are never sent to employers, and your uploaded CV and documents stay private.

Managing your choices

You choose whether to accept analytics and advertising cookies on the consent banner, and you can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset locally stored progress.
